It's a great series, this isn't any sort of deal. Book one is almost always $0.99 on audible.

Book 1 is currently over $20 on Audible...so I mean, at this particular moment in time, $1 for ebook is sort of a deal, isn't it, lol?

In all seriousness, though, I've heard so many great things about the audiobook that I'm thinking I'll probably hold out for that version. Open to any thoughts about which version to start with. I like both for different reasons.

This is absolutely a series that needs to be listened to over reading, if possible. But FYI if you buy a kindle book, you get the audible version discounted as well. Sometimes I'll do that hack to get my audible version. It's showing as $5 add-on right now for me.

Two different formats, some would rather read than listen, so the .99 deal elsewhere ain't sh*t to them. On the other hand, some of us like to read AND listen to the same book, so it's nice to get a deal on both.
