I personally wouldn't pay this after the $70 deal like 2 weeks ago, but to each their own.

I got the 1 probe version. What's the point of having 4?

If you're cooking multiple pieces of meat at one time. Or if you'd like to probe a large piece of meat like a pork shoulder multiple times.

I picked one up on that $70 deal and I'm super happy with it.

I bought the two probe version last month and the probes broke after one cook. Apparently they cannot go above a certain temp while inserted in the meat?

I also bought the two probe last month and am enjoying it. I'm a professional chef so it's been getting it's fair share of use so far and has held up just fine for me. I've used it in multiple outlets as well (combi oven, convection, Confection, and an alto shaam cook and hold) and all has come out perfect. And in general I just want to point out the app is nice, didn't think I'd use it but I'm able to set specifics on my cook ahead of time and then get notified while I'm moving about.

4 pieces of meat or double up on big meats.
