I had this and suppose for the price it may be worth it, but I personally didn't like it and ended up returning it for the Edwin model, which I like much better. I needed to light a smaller bedroom that I use as an office, but the design of the Austin doesn't cast much light around the room due to its design. It leaves the areas near the walls pretty dim. The Edwin is much better in this regard and I would recommend getting it when it's on sale. There is now an even larger model that is similar to the Edwin that I would probably recommend the most, but I haven't personally owned it.
It is worth mentioning, however, that the Austin model does have a light color/temperature feature that the Edwin doesn't have, which is nice. But that feature was less important to me than having a more thoroughly lit room.

I've had this for about 6 months - it's pretty rad. It's lightweight, and moves a lot of air around.

The lights appear to imbedded LED so, if the light ever does die you'll likely need to replace the entire thing.

I bought one of these for my office when they were still available in warehouse. I think it was around this price on sale back then.

Yes. I have and prefers the Edwin as well. One thing I don't like with the Austin and many ceiling fan+light combos is that when the fan is on (especially at lower speed), the fan blades pass in front of the light and makes the light "flickers" in the room. The Edwin doesn't.

I find that the outer black frame restricts illumination in the room. I wish I had installed this one in my daughter's room instead but it's not on sale:

At least return the one you buy unopened with your old receipt

Recently installed Artika Sunnyvale 28" in 12 x 13 room. Plenty air and light, and looks great. No wobbling. Costco had it on sale for 99 in store.

I was wondering about the same.
