Yea, no, it just means you don't know what you're talking about.
The problem with it is that at this point it's quite old (2019), and even when it came out it had some significant cons people had to take into account to see if it was a good match for their specific situation. If you're in the ecosystem and have lenses and are looking for an extra/new body for landscape, studio and/or event photography, it's a good enough deal on it.
The included lens is quite solid, in performance (f/4 across the entire range, and known for being sharp), but also size and weight. And also in value at this price — a very solid kit for an FF body with a very decent lens that has a solid range covered for many people.

Very expensive, I assume it will be able to zoom onto saturn and be able to take pictures of the rings

At this price point, I expect to see Pluto.
This camera is old but decent. If you want to take pictures of the moon and planets, get a superzoom camera like a Nikon P1100 or P1000 or P950 or a telescope OR attach a camera to a telescope.

I'm a Sony guy, but Panasonic made some nice cameras back in the day. But unfortunately I think this Panasonic has been surpassed by Sony and Canon for price to features. And with this kit lens you're likely to only see Uranus.

Lumix user here. I'd be very hard pressed to reconmend this camera at that price point. By camera standards it is pretty old and it uses an autofocus system that was dated even when it launched in 2019. If you want to go Lumix, save your money and get a S5ii bundle or spend a bit more and get a S1ii or S1rII.

Ridiculous, absolutely not worth $3,036 when the successor S1Rii is currently selling for $61 more ($3,097 at B&H). Both are great cameras in their context but the S1R is now 6-7 years old and sells for $1000-1200 used. The S1Rii does technically have 3 less MP but is better in every other way.

You can get an S1RII for $2998.00 for the body with no lens. This camera is WAY better and six years newer.

This is not a "DLSR" camera. It's mirrorless.

I'm a Lumix user. Have the s5ii which was a tremendous value a couple years ago.
But at $3K, you can do better. Look into Nikon Z cameras. They are very well priced. That's if you are not already invested in the L-mount lenses and don't need a high res sensor.

You are right on. I also shoot Lumix. I've seen used S1Rs in excellent condition for a little over 1k. This is way overpriced for a new old model camera. It's a really good camera but just not at this price.

Not a deal.

That said, this camera and lens are two of my favorites to combo. Camera has one of the best sensors for image quality in my opinion, but is limited as it doesnt have PDAF, so focus for bursts etc will be rough. If you do single focus shots you are ok. Tracking is rough too (decent but not great). This can also create larger High Resolution photos using stacked images. Panasonics implementation is great for this, but only in non moving objects or landscapes.

The 24-105mm f4 is a great everything lense. Its a semi Macro so it can focus close, so at 104mm f4 it looks great for head shots. Its also great for landscape and even general use.

Biggest downside of this setup is size and weight, as the S1R weighs more and is bigger than other Mirrorless, being generally similar to a Large DSLR.

ALL of this said, a7r3 or newer, might be a better buy if you want a more mobile/adaptable/cheaper solution.

Ive been using this camera since 2019 but I paid $2200 for brand new body only so I don't think this is good deal. Its built like a tank and it produces great images specially when paired with my Leica SL 24-90mm. My favorite camera of all time
