Project farm tested chainsaws a few more the back and for a budget chainsaw for infrequent cutting this is a great deal!

Same boat here, at $97 just not sure if I should pull the trigger to replace my greenworks one

$85 for a chainsaw? Wow! I switched to battery-driven years ago and never looked back, but this is crazy cheap if it works

I bought the 20 inch 62cc and it's just as powerful as the stihl and husqvarna at way more money - it's not as good build quality, but meh $99

Because the HP figure is being featured so prominently in this post, I feel compelled to mention as an FYI that 2.55HP is not very impressive for a 52cc motor. The 40cc Husqvarna 141, frequently seen with a 16" bar, was rated at 2.6HP with 75% of the displacement. (I just pulled that example out of Google because there's some yellow Poulan Pro I was thinking of.) I'm not sure I would be looking for a 20" bar just because bigly is better.

I am sure this is just as serviceable for cleaning up after an unexpected event, or using regularly for years, as any other $100ish consumer grade chainsaw. If it had a Craftsman label slapped on the side, people would come crawling out of the woodwork to slobber over the name brand.
