Not sure why you think that. Other than Kay Vess being an uninteresting character, the rest of the characters and worldbuilding is fun. Gameplay is great too, wish Jedi Survivor had been closer to this rather than soulslike. I'm currently playing it, have about 30 hours in, and it feels like Ubisoft really leaned away from the grind from AC Odyssey and Valhalla, and managed to find a decent middle ground. Being able to use a speeder and ship in open world environments is amazing.

And if you are going to bring up jank, please note that 90-95% of it has been addressed. Kay hardly speaks outside of story beats, and I have only experienced three occasions where a side mission didn't have a person or object pop up. All it took was a simple reload to fix.

Not a perfect Star Wars game by any means, but a genuine 8/10 for a new entry made from the ground up.

If you like current assassins creed games you will probably like this game. Jedi survivor games are far superior in every way that matters.
