I agree. I have a small arsenal of AAA already. There have been some tempting deals on the AA Pros but I don't know enough to verify if the price to performance ratio warrants the upgrade to those

Are these batteries good to leave in a flashlight for occasional use in a car? Meaning will this hold the charge well?

For long-term storage of a rarely used or emergency item, I would probably go with some kind of lithium batteries (non-rechargeable) that have a 10+ year shelf-life in most temperature/storage scenarios and they maintain their voltage as they discharge.

If it's something you use semi-regularly and your life doesn't depend on it, these will be fine. They should hold a charge for quite a while (1 year+).
