1) This is the regular price
2) they are worth $20
3) I prefer the Basseus BP1 pro to these. More stable connection, better handling of multiple devices and better mic.

They're water resistant enough (IPX5 - light jets of water) and affordable enough that I've tried them in the shower,* and they work pretty well, though I did dislodge the right earbud twice while shampooing (it'll depend on your ears). And of course once your ear is wet, they don't want to stay in quite as firmly - but it was all right.
*-I've always wanted to listen to music or a podcast in the shower, but I've always lived in places where the walls were thin and I don't want to disturb other people.
Note: if they aren't comfortable in one orientation, you can rotate them to see if they fit more comfortably in another orientation. This is probably obvious to people that have used wireless earbuds before, but being used to wired earbuds that would get pulled down by any orientation than the wires straight down, it didn't occur to me to try rotating them to pointing forward or up until I read it in the Soundcore fitting help.

One gripe is that the charging pins become intermittent after about a year or so. This means that sometimes one of the buds never turns off and might be dead the next time you try to use it. It also happens that it sometimes hijacks my phone's bluetooth when I want to connect to something else, like my car or my over-the-ear headphones.
This seems typical of low-end buds, as I've had the same problem with at least 2 other brands.
