I've gotten this a couple of times. They work great. I had another reader that was corrupting sd cards. I use this with raspberry pis, so USB-A is a-ok for me.

Usb A to Usb C adapters are like $2 nowadays. So you have that. Also this thing is AWESOME!
Its not like the others! This one loads 2 sd cards at once. Thats farkING awesome for phones since phones only have 1 port.
Removes the need to use a usb expander and then plugging in 2 separate usb sd card readers
