not sure why the stand component makes these so expensive; i guess having the single cable, too? but like a regular portable 1080p 60hz ips portable monitor can be had for <$50 routinely, and this is just two of those stuck together. i guess it's slightly more convenient to unfold this than finagle two separate portable monitors..
