Generally no, however, some stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's sell "fertilized" eggs that people have had luck hatching.

While most folks are saying that you can't use grocery story eggs, and for the most part it's true, I have had success hatching a few here and there that were supposed to be supposed sterile!
