Product Description:
- LED display screen allows for easy temperature setting and reading in Fahrenheit, enhancing convenience to maintain perfect conditions, ensuring reliable and consistent hatch success with minimal effort need to buy an additional temperature hygrometer to monitor the incubator.
- Automatic egg turning system, mimicking natural conditions (Optional automatic turning frequency: once every 60, 120, or 180 minutes). This improves hatch success by turning eggs at the right intervals and stopping three days before hatching to prevent over-turning.
- External water filling system allows you to add water without opening the egg incubator, ensuring a stable humidity level throughout the incubation cycle, and improving the hatching success rate.
- Built-in candling feature that allows you to check the embryos during the incubation process, helping you to monitor their development and identify any potential problems at each stage.

As for hatching grocery store bought eggs, your chances of success are astronomically low. Even if the eggs were somehow fertilized, refrigeration will kill the embryo.
Community Reviews
This 18 egg incubator is aimed at hatching fertilized eggs, with auto turning, temperature and humidity control, and a transparent dome for watching progress. It has been used successfully for chickens, quail, ostrich eggs, and even balut style eggs, and the larger capacity is handy for hobby batches. The main caution is that grocery store eggs usually will not hatch, especially if they have been washed or refrigerated, so fresh local fertilized eggs work better. Temperature setup also matters, with 99.5 degrees and a steady calibration check coming up often.
Common Questions (5)
Usually no. Refrigeration typically kills the embryo, and store eggs are often washed and already too old for good fertility; fertilized eggs from local sources or specialty stores are the better option.
Yes. It has been used successfully for chicken hatches, and quail eggs have also been hatched in it. The transparent dome lets you monitor the eggs during incubation, and the 18-egg capacity is enough for a larger hobby batch.
Use fresh fertilized eggs from a local source, ideally within about 10 days of being laid. Local eggs have a much better hatch rate than shipped eggs, and some people have had luck with fertilized eggs from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, or eBay farm sellers.
99.5°F works best. The unit's preset 100.4°F can run a bit high, and one stable setup measured about 2°F lower at the bottom than the displayed setting.
Not always. Several shoppers reported the promo code failing at checkout with messages like "not working" or "not valid."
