I can't speak to this vendor, but recently purchased a pair of Maui Jim's from Ashford (another unauthorized reseller) and I am 99.9% convinced they were counterfeit crap. Returnable (on my own dime), but (a) again had to pay shipping to return and (b) refund still processing.

I'm all for getting a great deal, and therefore plan to stick to Costco and wait-out on something I want vs rolling the dice on "grey market" retailers which may or may not be selling counterfeit crap.


To the down vote -- would love your take on why. Is this a legit reseller? Have you purchased from them before?

Ilikea is ST Glass and Asian/Alt fit for anyone looking for those specs. I got a pair from the last sale, and they're nice, though they don't sit as snugly as my other Maui Jims when perched on top of my head.

Hello large-headed friend. For me, most 8"+ fitted hats are too small. I previously returned Mamalu Bays to MJ because they were too big. I have Lele Kawa, Wana, The Bird (some discontinued, try the auction site), and they are all excellent. Lele Kawa (previously known as Dragon's Teeth) is the best for me.

Thank you for the research! I already ordered the Mamalu Bays earlier today and I have never had glasses be too big on me, so now I'm very curious lol. I'll keep an eye out to try the other models too
