Pretty sure this one gets an A- rating on the SPL PSU list. Not their absolute best but still pretty darn good.

Just grabbed one off Newegg for my Sim-Rig build (RTX 3080 atm), White build, hence why I wanted the white PSU/Cables otherwise there are better options I know. But the price is really good, those usually sell for 180-210$ price range (crazy). Also its harder to find a "good" A(+) tier White 1000W PSU, there's just more to choose from when it comes to standard Black PSU's than white ones.

This PSU at it's normal price is meh but for $130 + in white it's worth it

You typically want to buy a PSU that can sip power in low power states. 80+ Titanium PSUs are 90% efficient at 10% power. Other PSUs don't even rate their efficiencies that low.
The reason behind this is because unraid servers will be dormant most of the time.

A lower wattage gold or platinum psu will be at the same efficiency at levels below 100w while being significantly cheaper.

Never had a problem with any Seasonic PSU's. I know there are lemons in everything, but I trust my computer with this one in particular for a frosty build.

Luv Seasonic psu's and using them for years with never a problem . Iam currently using a Vertex 1200 watt for my main gaming rig and luv it , super solid specs , super super quite, 12yr warranty , just fantastic !

I'll most likely grab this deal for my other rig thats a backup unit but still has some hefty specs .

Price/deal also good at Walmart at $130 .

So yes — the Seasonic Focus GX 1000W you're looking at is only Cybenetics Gold, not Platinum.
You're absolutely right.
