It's true, this was on sale the other day for $199.99. I would wait again for that sale. It will definitely happen again. Please be careful with buying a certified refurbished unit from Buydig. I brought this the last time Buydig offered these. It was for a Christmas present so I didn't open and test out the machine immediately. When it was opened on Christmas Day, the unit didn't work. Buydig's 30 day return was past, so they didn't accept it. Ninja saw it was a refurbished item, so they didn't accept it. Thank God for Allstate. The problem with Allstate is that they will try to replace the machine with one that doesn't make the soft serve. I got lucky and Allstate refunded me the cost of the machine. The problem was that the plastic motor housing was cracked which dropped the motor. Ninja wanted $199 for a new PLASTIC housing. I made a video on how to break down the unit & how I fixed it.
If I was going to do this all over again, I would stay away from "REFURBISHED". If you buy a new one, you get the Ninja warranty (1 year I believe). If the unit breaks, just call them & they will tell you to send them a video of the machine and you cutting the cord. They will then send you a new replacement unit. From my experience, Buydig wasn't that easy.
Oh... It's a great machine when it working. I LOVE my soft serve!!!

The product wasn't the issue, the issue is that someone channeled their inner George Costanza by buying you a refurbed xmas present...lol
Just note this doesn't actually make soft serve. This is just the creami, on the right, and an extruder, on the left. It just extrudes into a soft serve shape that people are used to. You won't get soft serve texture.

Bro, use Ai, you'll get soft serve texture! I get it all the time.
Most people think this is a ridiculous gimmick and is not needed, once you get it, you'll see what a magical device it is! You make the healthiest treat possible zero additives and the taste is outta this world
