36 colors with dual tips for under $10 is tough to beat. Since they're pre-activated, makes them easier to use than typical paint pens. Good for crafts, labeling, rocks, wood, and basic projects.
Not professional quality, but for the price it's an easy buy, especially for kids or casual use.

Anyone here used these with younger kids or beginners? Are they easy to control or more like actual paint (messy, harder to use)? Trying to figure out if these are practical for simple coloring or more for crafts/projects.

They are easy to use. More like regular markers. Not like paint markers you have to shake up like a spray can. I've gotten these from Amazon a few times now. They're always a differently labeled brand but it's the same product. I get them all the time because my wife is a middle school art teacher and this is what she hands out to student. $9 is good.
