The 77 inch LG C5 OLED evo stands out as a big, immersive OLED upgrade with excellent picture quality and easy LG remote navigation. It is drawing strong praise from owners moving up from older B7 and B8 sets, and the 77 inch size is especially appealing for bedroom viewing or a larger living room. The main cautions are around partner store logistics, with price changes at checkout, slow or messy delivery and installation through Angi, and occasional trouble getting price adjustments or refunds. A compelling OLED pick if the size and checkout timing line up.

Common Questions (7)

  • The C5 is widely treated as a strong OLED, but the Samsung S90F is described as having a better panel and brighter, more vivid colors. Compared with older LG OLEDs like the B7 or B8, the C5 is an upgrade but may feel only marginal if you already own a recent OLED.

  • The deal appears to have been time-limited and the price later rose to $1,599.99 or $1,799. If you see the lower cart price, check out quickly because the offer can disappear during checkout or after midnight ET.

    gerradtrevorgrantmiguelnatorjaredalanmitchellrichyfin

  • Choosing in-home wall install can include free installation, and some buyers also saw a free wall mount added. The mount may not always appear in checkout, so the exact add-on shown can vary.

    longball4AbdiiiLicensedToDealShrewdRose6942

  • The service is outsourced to Angi, and several experiences describe unprepared installers, missing helpers, and crooked mounts. Many recommend skipping it and mounting the TV yourself or with a trusted helper, especially for a 77-inch set.

    GreenRaccoon7115CaptainSoulShortbrantjaredalanmitchell

  • Delivery can be on time, with some orders arriving exactly on the scheduled day and status showing a confirmed date. But other reports describe major carrier delays, lost shipments, and slow refunds, so the experience can be inconsistent.

    jaredalanmitchellTideFanGeorgebullgatesPatQ

  • A Hulu-based signup path has worked for some buyers, using the same email for Hulu and the Partner store. The perk may have expired on Hulu's side, but the LG Partner signup link was still reported as working.

    jaredalanmitchellsrmuldrjaredalanmitchellshinseiRomeo

  • Yes, the same mount can work if it matches the TV's VESA pattern and is rated for the weight. One buyer reused a mount from a 75-inch Sony on the 77-inch C5, but the fit should be checked before hanging it.

That is true. Now I want to return my Samsung 65s90f and upgrade to this 77. Though still within return period, I hate to pay restocking fee.

Damn I was waiting for a similar deal on a 65" G5 but this is tempting. The G5 is so much brighter though... first world problems lol.
Not worth the price difference in my opinion

do i need to worry about the lg partner installing the TV Stand Setup by over-torquing the screws cause they likely use an electric screwdriver?

Return it and pay the fee. The difference between 65 and 77 is significant

I'm thinking about waiting a year for the 77" G6 to drop to ~$2k
Truthfully, anyone considering a C5 may want to hold out for a C6 (unless you just need a TV right now) at this point. The C6 is a significant upgrade over the C5 and actually even the G5. The G6 vs C6 should be an interesting comparison but of course you are going to pay more for the G series.

Like someone explain to me properly exactly how this works? I actually do work in the tech industry and as an employee AM eligible for promos like these yet last time I tried, I couldn't get it to work. I contacted their support and told me my work email wasn't eligible.

They outsource it to Angi in my experience. You can have this discussion with the installer, but it's not an LG person that does the setup.

Sign up for Hulu and then use that same email address to sign up for the Partner store. That's how I did it a few months back.

Yes they bumped the starting price up. Deals seem to rotate in and out. More will be around soon.
