I found this deal via the Shop App, which notified me I had a $15 discount off my next order, so $33.69 out the door through the Shop App for me.

Great EDC knife. I've had this and the composite blade leak and I wouldn't pay extra for the composite in hindsight. Feels great in your hand and very useful. I carry this one more often than not.
I've had this for 10 years or so, now. It's been flawless. I think I paid $30 or so for it back in the day. So $40 in today's market sounds about right.

I've got a couple of variants of this. I like the Leek although I'm not so impressed with some of Kershaws offerings the last few years. BUT.. I will say that if you ever need parts, like washers or backspacers. You fill out a form online and they mail them to you no questions asked. I literally did that today because a piece broke on mine (which they replaced) and then while I had the knife apart waiting, I misplaced the back spacer. Anyway, whether it breaks or you do something stupid like I did and lose a part, they've been good about sending the parts without question.

Yeah, they have solid support. The plastic lock/flip-guard piece broke on my Scallion and they just sent me a baggie with multiple replacements for that, the screw, and the locking nuts as well. Big thumbs up.
I'm a fan of Kershaw knives but I own two of these and the tips broke off on both of them very easily, due to how thin the blade is. Maybe I was too rough with them but I haven't ran into this issue with any of their other knives, which I own several. If you need a sharp, light duty knife it makes a good EDC otherwise.
