Its all very random.

The two strikes against this are no lfp for safety, and low mah so maintenance charging more important, but its only 20 bucks so whatever.

Don't buy if you need a Boost button. It's not very strong. Just barely started a 4cyl Rav4.

Spend a little extra and get a better one.

I wouldn't be surprised if they both have the same size battery pack.
Amp ratings on these no name brand jump starters are useless.

LFP? Can you point to one of these that has actual LFP cells in it? I haven't seen one. The reason, I would presume, that you wouldn't see one with bona fide LFP is that LFP cells simply can't handle high discharge currents that would be required for cold cranking (unless the chemistry has improved substantially).

There are actually a few that does have LFP jump starter (Lokithor, Michelin branded one from Costco, Vtoman).
But your point is very valid. LFP batteries are very low discharge "C" rating compare to Lipo batteries. Most people just hear great things about LFP batteries and think it can be applied universally in all battery situations.

Almost cheaper than a power bank charger of the same mAh size. Any real experience with this brand? I own so many brands, some good some bad as far as starting a car but most the batteries don't last very long. I initially thought lithium ion would be a game changer but still too many set back.

For jump starting purposes this model doesn't need a boost button. The cable can detect even 0 volt battery.
