There was an option to upgrade to an i5 for like $10. Which i did, mine was a 12500t.

To be honest, I'm not sure. I think Dell has a lot of leases come back after the contracts are over or when companies lay off a large number and need to get rid of them. It would be wise to make an account at Dell Refurbished site and sign up for marketing emails or make an alert here on slickdeals to trigger for anything Dell.
