Have this and it's worth for the price. Brightness in a light room is good.

This is a good TV and a good deal if you need it. Had to replace my kindergarten-aged TCL a few months back and opted for this for a couple hundred more than this deal. It's been impressive and everyone that's seen it has had good things to say. I do notice some inconsistent backlighting on fast motion scenes like when watching golf or football, like the image is a bit "dirty" (can't remember what that is actually called), but it's not too terrible. FYI though as I know some people will obsess over something like that. I suppose you could exchange if you don't like the image you get, but with these clearing out that may not be a realistic option.

I've been thinking of getting the 75" TCL QM7K which is the same price. It would be a bright room so the Samsung may be a better option. It will also be used for gaming with a PS5. Any thoughts?

Had mine for a year and it's been a very good tv, bright even in a well lit room, movies look great as does gaming with my PS5. I've had no issues or problems using manual picture settings. Pair it with a Samsung sound bar and you have a decent AV setup for not a lot of cash. Only downside is lack of dolbyvision and Samsung's crappy solar remote, but for the price this is a solid set unless you must have an OLED.

You can buy replacement remotes that don't use solar on Amazon for like $20. My kids are always leaving them out and the puppy has chewed more than a few of them.

It's a great TV, especially if your space is too bright for OLED.

they're roughly on par with each other quality wise. IMO better blacks and brightness on the TCL, but slightly better HDR on the Samsung

HDMI 2.1 eARC on the QN90D, HDMI 2.0 eARC on TCL.

TCL is garbage. All these YouTube shills have the uninitiated regurgitating the same talking points.

as someone who's been in the tv industry since the early 2000s....yeah no. they're basically what Vizio was back in the 2010s and 2015 era. good decent mid range TV's that are a good value, while not being AS good as the majors.

their biggest issue (much like Vizio was) will be QC...but still better than most samsungs. you couldn't pay me to buy a modern samsun under $2500
