Me when I spread misinformation for no reason.

You provide no specific models for comparison and also the qm6k is a google tv.

Guys I'm getting weak. May just give in and get this. I've been holding for a year. Waited for the 75" qm7k to hit $800. Or killed OLED deal. No such luck
Hold on for BF you might see the ones you're looking for

It's $850 for me right now unless I'm missing something

I think the deal expired. I clearly remember a date that the sale would expire

TCL makes great TVs. I've had my TCL 55R617 since 2019 with no problems at all and I use it daily. On the other hand, I had a cheap Vizio M60-D1 take a shit on me, and the Samsung TU700D that I have has some of the lowest UI responsiveness that I have ever experience on a smart TV.

Get the QM6K Pro from Cosco over this if you can. Same price. MUCH better panel. Backlight, processor, and housing are the same. But the Pro uses the same "CrystGlow" HVA Panel from the QM7K and QM8K.

It did drop to $700 at some point for a day, then it went back to $850. I was able to order it at $700.

I bought the 65" and 85" version. Amazing TV's that work really well in bright lit rooms. Handle glare like a champ!

Same experience w vizio. My 65 inch took a dump due to known issue. Bad soldering of a chip. Had a company fix it for me but 2 years later it completely crapped out. You know its a very common issue if a conpany offers a service for this exact issue. Trying this tcl now. Reviews all rave about it. Ofcourse there's always something better out there. The costco deal is better for the pro but i don't have costco near me nor a card.

Trying to decide between this and the Hisense 75U65Q... I'm seeing similar comparisons between the two, but leaning more towards the Hisense (price, atsc 3). The biggest downside with the Hisense for me personally is the Fire TV, not a big fan, but I can live with it. Would love some opinions to push me in the right direction. I'm replacing a cheap 75" Element that had the back light power supply burn out, so most anything will be a step up.

I am exchanging the Hisense for the TCL. The Hisense has a bad lag and it pauses a lot while watching. I was very hesitant about getting the Hisense because of it being Fire TV but I went ahead and did it. That part wasn't bad it's just the lag and the pausing. Also the TV will not turn off. It will go to the screensaver but won't power off. Best Buy will be picking up the Hisense and delivering the TCL on Monday.
