The Alien 7 Film Collection is a strong way to get the core franchise, with Alien, Aliens, Prometheus, Alien Covenant, and Alien Romulus in 4K, while Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are HD. The bundle is Movies Anywhere compatible, and Apple bundles may show HD on the main page even when individual titles are 4K, so each film needs to be checked separately. Aliens is not in 4K here, and the original Alien and Aliens are still the standout films. A solid pick if you want the full series in one place.
The AppleTV bundle lists multiple titles as 4K UHD while others are HD, which helps shoppers target specific viewing quality.
The collection is marked as Movies Anywhere compatible, which can make cross-store playback easier for eligible libraries.
Alien and Aliens are described as standing out in quality compared with the rest of the lineup, which supports value for those two films.
The deal can be worth it for completing the full set, since Alien 3 is framed as useful for trilogy closure.
Fandango bundles are reportedly often HDX, so format verification is necessary before purchasing.
Aliens is reported as not being in 4K, which can conflict with expectations when checking the bundle's format details.
Apple bundle pages may show HD at the bundle level even when some individual movies are 4K, so shoppers must click each title to confirm.
Lionsgate and Key & Peele bundles are reportedly not compatible with MA, which can limit playback options depending on the bundle.
