No. When Apple bundles movies, it'll say HD, but whichever ones they carry in 4K will be in 4K. You just have to click on them individually to see their format.

The Alien 7 Film Collection is a strong way to get the core franchise, with Alien, Aliens, Prometheus, Alien Covenant, and Alien Romulus in 4K, while Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are HD. The bundle is Movies Anywhere compatible, and Apple bundles may show HD on the main page even when individual titles are 4K, so each film needs to be checked separately. Aliens is not in 4K here, and the original Alien and Aliens are still the standout films. A solid pick if you want the full series in one place.

Note that many Fandango bundles are HDX, so proceed with caution.

Depends. Alien and Middle Earth bundles, yes; Lionsgate and Key & Peele, no.

Buy alien and aliens for the current $5 sale price individually, save yourself $20. Maybe buy aliens 3 for another $5 if you want to complete the original trilogy, but make sure you watch the special version included with Apple extras rather than the theatrical version for a better aliens 3 experience. The rest of the movies just aren't worth it IMO.

Then why does it say "4K - Dolby Vision - Dolby Atmos" when you click on it?

You don't like the later movies? , prometheus wasn't half bad.

Alien and aliens are head and shoulders above the rest. Prometheus and alien 3 are decent, but alien 3 ends a trilogy so worth the watch for closure. Prometheus is just a fun horror show. Alien for the sci fi thriller, aliens for the sci fi action, alien 3 for the trilogy closure. Romulus was great until the ending was awful. Resurrection was average, covenant was average. All subjective of course, if you want to watch them all, then do it.
