Are you sure you didn't get the crappy one with the SK steel?

I own one with this steel. Granted I go it for $89 but for $99 it's still a good deal.

These knives kick ass. Corrosion resistant isn't a big deal, just clean the blade and if you live in a humid place put some oil on it. The full size is an awesome knife and the compact is awesome as well. I would check midway usa as they generally have these on sale for cheap.
