This might be obvious to others but after buying one of these types of levels I realized you cannot angle them up or down. You can but one or two degrees. This means if you want to project a straight line five feet up a wall, say to hang a tv or picture frames, then you need a tripod that can go that high up. That's not typically in people's "toolbox".

Good product, but the Huepar 9011G at $29.99 is essentially the same price and arguably better. https://www.amazon.com/Huepar-Lev...JPM4Z?th=1
It is 1/9in accurate at 33ft vs 1/8in at 30ft for the Fanttik D2. Also, The Huepar relies on AA batteries, which is a benefit if you are concerned about the internal rechargeable battery failing at some point.

Also, the Box-1G [amazon.com] is $36 with 1/13in at 33ft accuracy, and 130deg horizontal and 150deg vertical vs the Fanntik's 120deg horizontal and vertical projection.

Don't fall for this trap people.
This is literally the same product as 100 other laser levels available on Amazon for $10-15. There's absolutely nothing about it that warrants 2x the price AND SD status.
There's some weird bot/shill thing going on with it being thumbed up that SD staff allows instead of banning them.

I bought this during a previous deal. Used it in my attic to help level 17 inches of blown in insulation. It was awesome.

I also snagged this last week for $30. Used it to hang some artwork and it worked like a champ.
