Actual value of HGTV Smart Home 2026® depends on market fluctuations. ARV of total Grand Prize: $1,388,796. In lieu of taking title to the HGTV Smart Home 2026® (and the contents of the HGTV Smart Home 2026®), the Grand Prize Winner will have the option of receiving $600,000 in cash, awarded in the form of an electronic funds transfer (the "Cash Option").

That being said, it will never stop irritating the heck out of me to see everyone begging to win these homes by people not realizing you are fully responsible for like a million dollars in taxes to actually be able to keep and live in the homes.
Almost no one ever in the history of these contests has ever successfully held onto a house.
