This hotel is very nice but is not central to the hustle and bustles of Waikiki. It's a very far walk to Waikiki beach. It's closer to Ala Moana Mall and Magic Island park.

I stayed here in October and loved this property. It's more peaceful and less touristy than staying in the heart of Waikiki / downtown. Props to whoever decided bidets in each room were important. I suggest island hopping (at least two) if you make the trek to HI. Easy 30 minute flights.

I was seriously considering this hotel, but ended up choosing one that's closer to the hustle and bustles. This hotel is mainly geared toward Japanese visitors, so it's no surprise that the toilet has bidets. The hotel itself is nice, but the location is not close enough (beyond walking distance) to waikiki beach and most activities. Parking fee (at beach) can add up fast.

It is on the Ala Wai Harbor, which has a strong smell especially after rain. Limited food options within walking distance.

Is $200 a night per person considered FrontPage worthy? Not being sarcastic, just wondering if that is the new expectation to spend on a hot deal for travel considering 2026 inflation.

It's about a 15 minute walk, not bad at all. Also closer and walking distance to the marina from which many water excursions take off from. The hotel is much more modern relative to the Waikiki counterparts and every room has a marina/ocean view. I've stayed here twice and multiple times on Waikiki. If you plan on doing things off Waikiki as well, the convenience of being offsite balances that of being on Waikiki for the beach days. It's much easier to get in and out. For the price you can't get a better hotel near Waikiki in my opinion. I'll reiterate, it's a 15 minute walk.

I actually think it's a plus that the Prince is located at the far end of Waikiki. It's a lot quieter, easier to get in and out of Waikiki, and within walking distance of Ala Moana mall (the world's largest open-air shopping center.) Also, all of the rooms at this hotel are oceanfront with large windows, but most of them don't have balconies.
