Thinking about buying this, surely not eligible for ppl energy rebates, but at this price it's close to the price of a window air conditioner.

Not really, as you need to do a bit of electrical work my friend! (On top of vacuum + refrigerant adjustment)

I have the vacuum tool from a previous install of one. But yeah I need an electrical shut off box, and a breaker(and I guess it would be fair to include the cost of the wire I already have).

Why do you say that? Costway is known to underfill?

No. Mine has been working for 3 years without any problems. But if your run is 50ft or more, then in the installation manual it tells you it might need add extra to account for the run.

Yeah, if I needed to use longer, but for me 13 will be more than enough.

Last year, my old central AC is not blowing cold air anymore. I don't think their still have refrigerant for old AC. So I purchased the Yitahome mini split AC 18k BTU total $469: https://ibb.co/HT2XnG6r

It works fantastic. After that, I bought 2 more 9k BTU for bedrooms. So total 3 mini split cost under $1200. It must cheaper than getting new central AC, and SAVE A LOT ENERGY. Just 10 months, my house save almost $500 compare to last year use central AC. And my house never get cool and warm like this before. If you know how to install mini split, you will love it. It very quiet and efficiency compare to central and window AC.
