If you are interested in the 18" version with twice the battery size (5Ah) ACE Hardware has it as an online only deal for $110 more. Free chainsaw if you buy the 5Ah battery.

That is a great deal just for the battery upgrade alone, but an extra 2 inches never hurts. 😜 Looks like it only works for online purchase to pick up at a store that has inventory so may be a YMMV. Link below for anyone interested

If you don't like opening up new CC's like me, I encountered an interesting deal. I've been looking for the Ego 12" chainsaw, which is currently running for $249, for the kit. But then I saw a link, that said nearby store, priced at $195. Well the nearby store ended up being Lowes. So the Ego 12" chainsaw kit, and threw in their synthetic bar oil were added to the cart. Being $200+, I set it to ship to me. With that option, the price adjusted to $249 for the kit. So I re-tried, but left it at picking up at the store, then the price remained at $195 for the kit. So I have to pick it up, but it fulfilled my wish of it being less than $200.

You might look for a situation like that in your city. If your in the Denver, Colorado metro area, Lowes is in Parker, on Twenty Mile Rd.
