Is there a reason for air tight? Mine isn't and I've never noticed any issues.
Standard salted butter is self stable on the counter for 2 weeks without issues (50+ years of experience). Obviously, it can melt during warm summer days. Airtight adds another week or two of life.
price is nothing special, has been the same since the history of the listing. another issue is that the container doesn't fit the costco size butter sticks
I'm blown away that there are people out there looking for double wide butter trays because they haven't looked at a stick of butter and realized that cutting it down the middle makes a standard stick of butter. It's literally just double wide...
No knocking the product, but there are similar butter dishes available on Amazon for this price or cheaper every day. I paid about $6 for one recently and it doesn't seem to have any flaws.
IDK... I'm old fashion. I would rather buy one made out of ceramic and glass then I won't have to purchase another for a very long time.
