I have these and love them. Easy to fill, hold a lot, and most importantly, take separate batteries. I use rechargeable AA's.

My buddy has the rechargeable type that has a built in USB charger, and is on his third one. When the built-in battery goes, the grinder is useless.

These replaceable battery ones stop working too; I've gone through 2 sets over the years and now just use a good manual one for just the black pepper. Using a grinder for salt is pointless and a waste of energy, one doesn't need fresh salt.

I like course salt, not the fine salt in normal shakers. I have a manual pepper grinder and it never stays adjusted, so I had been buying the dollar tree disposable grinders until I found these. They have worked great so far. Not sure why they would stop, it's just a motor and batteries.
