I don't know, price history shows that it's not a deal. Also, at this size wouldn't you be better off getting an OLED TV? The refresh might not be as fast, but you're getting a much higher resolution.

I got this same monitor, possibly the previous model even though the spec are the same for $550 through Costco over a year ago.

I like the monitor, but it's horrible with text without changing settings in windows. $600 would be a good price but 1000 is too much IMO
