At work speaking to a 30-something about the release of a new Frank Herbert "Dune" movie...
Me: "This new Dune movie is a re-make. As a matter of fact, Sting was cast in a role in the older version."
30-something: "What's a Sting ?"
Me: "He was the lead singer for the Police"
30-something: "Why would the police need a singer?"
I played him a couple of YouTube videos. He said he'd randomly heard "Every Breath you Take" before but had no idea who the artist was.
