Wow, a brand name 75' smart TV for $370! How can they justified such a low cost?

Is pioneer a brand that is now purchased by a Chinese company and quality down to poop level?

I wonder what they get out of my viewing pleasure?
Amazon watches me also.
My computer watches me surf also.
My phone listens to me and then if connected to google, shows me ads that I just talked about.

Its a bare bones older type tv so no newer features.
I bought the 70" version for my garage and works fine. If you're looking for something more current this is not it. But if youre ok with a basic TV and not to picky this works ok. My biggest concern is longevity.

any tv over 50inches that is 60hrtz refresh is just asking for problems
A 120Hz TV is superior for a 75-inch screen, offering smoother motion for sports, gaming, and reduced cinematic judder, while 60Hz is adequate for casual, budget-conscious viewing. For large screens, 120Hz minimizes motion blur and supports 4K@120Hz via HDMI 2.1 instead of downgrading, and software that "upgrades" this is not up to snuff as it interpolates the pixels and causes motion blur (more likely to make you motion sick)

Yup… 'Pioneer' (the name) is now owned by InnoLux, a Taiwanese company; but under an agreement existing before that purchase, the 'Pioneer' badge for televisions is (apparently, still) licensed to the Chinese company TCL… who contracts Compal Electronics (another Taiwanese company) to manufacture the Pioneer televisions made for the U.S. So "quality level"?? About the same as all the rest of the TCL-level sets.
Right up there with Magnetbox, Panaphonics, and Sorny.
