While compact, it feels heavy duty... The cord is thick and cumbersome compared to the sleek business end.

Reminder that the power cord is not detachable. I have the previous Gen version without the pop out outlets and it works great for travel. That one has a detachable power cord though.

If you're gonna use it for travel, why not get a brick charger that folds? This looks too big for travel.

Depends on what kind of travel and your needs. This combines a brick charger and an AC extension cord into one device. For my family of five and their needs, this type of device is way more useful on long trips than just a brick.

For me, there are lots of hotels that only have one or two outlet next to the bed, and not on both side, I also need additional one for CPAP, so seems a good one to carry with me. Sometimes I bring a bigger anker 727

Great for around the house but cord in my view is too bulky for throwing into a backpack or work bag. Fine for a checked or carryon luggage though. Otherwise solid charger and I have a few at my house. Price is fine, not earth shattering.
