Is this $200-better than the U6 given the $200 price difference?

Just in time. Bought one two weeks ago. Time to request for a refund

Edit:
Got the refund in less than 5 mins via online chat. Thanks, OP.

I don't think so. Mine works perfectly fine even with 4k streaming. You will not see many TVs supporting Wifi6 and I don't think it's necessary.

I asked the same question two weeks ago. Here is what I got from chatgpt: The biggest picture-quality split is this: RTINGS says the Hisense is brighter and handles glare better, while the TCL has better black levels and more accurate HDR, which makes it the better home-theater option. RTINGS also says the TCL has more consistent VRR and slightly faster pixel transitions, so it is a bit better for gaming overall.
There is one important model-size wrinkle on the Hisense: recent coverage of the 75-inch U6 says that size uses an ADS Pro panel, which improves viewing angles but reduces native contrast versus the VA panels used in some smaller sizes. That matters because weaker native contrast can make dark-scene performance a little less satisfying, even if the TV gets brighter. If you sit wide off-center, that helps the Hisense; if you care most about dark-room gaming and movie blacks, it leans back toward the TCL.

This was $749 just a few days ago, so while discounted its not an impulse purchase here. Has anyone ever seen the 85" drop below its current $1,000 price point?

Thanks for the info, feel like still can't justify the 200$ more vs U6

QM6K pro I read was like the equivalent of a QM7 panel.

I don't think this is accurate considering the Pro models from Costco have the crystal panels from the 7 and 8 series. There is no formal review for this model on RTINGS. I have this TV from the previous sale and I think it is great. My main is a Hisense U8G, and this is for the basement, both have their pros and cons.
