Community Reviews

This refurbished Latitude 5320 stands out as a compact Windows office laptop with unusually strong memory for the price. The 32GB DDR4, 3200 MHz soldered RAM and i7 1165G7 make it appealing for basic productivity, and the Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 ports add real monitor flexibility. The 1 year Allstate warranty and returns help offset refurb risk. The main knocks are its older 11th gen CPU, non upgradeable memory, and reports of questionable refurb condition, including a damaged screen and concerns about the Good grade. A practical pick if you want 32GB Windows on a budget.

Decent price, but concerned about "good" condition.

"basically a chrome book", but with an i7, 32GB ram, 256GB disk, Windows 11?

Soldered ram is certainly not ideal, but if you've got 32gb of it you'll probably be OK for a while.

Duh! Memory is soldered (no upgrade) - thank you for pointing it out!
That's a hard pass for me, even though 32GB is plenty.

just the installed RAM is worth 100 bucks these days 😁
16GB DDR4 is $129 on amzn (last time I checked), so 32GB RAM in this machine is worth $200, I guess.

I wonder if it supports a 4k 60Hz monitor.

Not sure how slick this one is, although with the price of memory (even DDR4) it might be an ok deal. I have a similar machine (5420, so the slightly bigger brother) that I bought almost exactly 2 years ago for ~$10 less than this one with a faster processor (1185G7) and twice the storage. Decent machine, but the trackpad is horrible.

$100 bucks for 32GB? Where do you buy your RAM? The price is $240+TAX minimum.
Here's 2x16GB of DDR4-3200 (the same kind that's in this laptop) for $105: https://ebay.us/m/LyD712

It has 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and an HDMI 2.0 port. You can connect two 8k monitors and one 4k monitor(on HDMI), all at 60hz. Naturally, the refresh rate can be higher for lower resolution monitors(8k 60hz ~ 4k 120hz).

The CPU is older tech and 11th gen i7 is dual core like i5. Intel 12th gen and newer have the performance + efficiency core hybrid configuration that is a much more significant leap in performance.
This is still a solid office laptop with the 32GB ram, just a little slow for power users.

I'm not sure I've seen anything that *wouldn't* support a 4K 60 Hz monitor in a long time, as long as it has a video output that's better than VGA.

CPU is quad core.
Yes, in 2026 it's a dinosaur CPU, but if you can get past that and have basic needs, between that and the 32GB RAM, it's not half bad.
I would get a MacBook Neo for $499 Edu pricing long before I got this (for eons-long battery life, great screen, awesome trackpad, no fan noise, Messages integration, and thin/light), but if you need Windows and have $300, this is about the best around short of the infrequent 12th-14th gen deals that we see from time to time. But if you need 32GB, this is about the best I've seen in quite a while.

You are right it's a quad core, but the 11th gen i5 is also quad core. So my point should've been the traditional i7 has more core than i5 doesn't apply to 11th gen mobile CPU.

I still have a laptop with i5-1135G7 at work and it's ok for basic email and productivity apps, but it's showing its age.

Buyer beware. It came filled with suspicious software pre-installed asking for credit card info right there on the desktop. And it was persistent. Wouldn't minimize, wouldn't close, would cover other apps if you try to open any. There was also a sus app running in the background Bright VPN / Bright SDK / lum_sdk_sys_event. I would advise against buying this. First and last time I am ever buying something from newegg
