Be careful about using these type of cleaners on coated hydrophilic coils, like a Bosch "blue" coils. These cleaners can strip their coating.

When in doubt, low pressure water is usually safest

Are you sure? Isn't Dawn power wash just dawn dish soap (that they wash ducks with) and rubbing alcohol?

Agree. It's great. Don't just use it on the outside. Open up the fan at the top and spray it on the inside coils too. Especially if you have double layer coils

Is the price history accurate? Seems like an increase instead of the expected price drop.

This is great both for Home HVAC systems as well as Auto Air conditioners...just in time for the upcoming summer.

You don't want to use coil cleaner every year or two. Soapy water in a spray bottle works great for most cleaning.
Price seems off - get a concentrate and a $7 bottle will last you a decade or more.

You know that Dawn Powerwash is much more aggressive than this right? That Dawn product is essentially oven cleaner in a spray bottle. Please keep it far away from pets/animals as it will kill them.
Are you sure? Isn't Dawn power wash just dawn dish soap (that they wash ducks with) and rubbing alcohol?

No! It is very different and I wish there would be warning labels. I have heard of people thinking it was safe for their pet and inadvertently killed their pet with it.
