Worst VPN I ever used
Disconnects daily, and if your not a computer geek, IT guy or coder, they talk down on you.
No matter the issue or cause, it's your fault their crap doesn't work correctly.
Worst of all I made a 3 year purchase with them.
Switched to Nord, and it's been flawless the last 6 months!

Disagree with the negative reviews. Works great for P2P on Pro. Disappointed that they dropped support for P2P on the Free tier. Never had issues while on pro. But if anyone has a better offering at a better price point, happy to hear that

Windscribe used to be good and now the servers are so bad. You still stay connected but the speeds drops down to 15-20 mbps. Mind you this is on their so called 10 gbps servers. Without vpn my speeds tested on fast.com are around 700-800 mbps

Anyone have recommendations for p2p at a similar price point? I just use this for p2p and it's been great for that at pro speeds.

FWIW, I've been using them since 2018 without any issues. Other than my old ISP having issues, I've always had full speed with most of their local servers.

Since the reviews seem to bad, what other VPNs are good and cheap?

I'm a new Windscribe user, having taken them up on this deal after finally using my collected free bandwidth while traveling recently.
No issues so far. I'm pretty geeky, but have simply been watching out for any sites that might be disturbed by my apparent location. Comcast asked if I wanted to switch to their Canadian site, and one bill payment yesterday would not fully load until I disabled the vpn.
Hadn't thought to retest speed via the vpn - mine seems unaffected, getting 600/110 as before.

I'm a long time Windscribe user and confirm they've been good for me. Many of my IoT stuff at home relies on their VPN connection.
