T Mobile internet is trash. Its ok if your the only one in the neighborhood thats using it, but its a shared network, thats why they limit bandwidth and throttle. Your speed decreases the more people have it. They limit the amount of people that can get it so its literally not scalable. Many neighborhoods dont have the best tower connections either so you are super lucky if it actually works ok for you. They know this and are trying to get into the fiber game with t-fiber, but all they do is resell the fiber backbone and they aren't getting traction because other companies do a much better job with the fiber. Atleast its better than comcast xfinity (literally the worst).

5G home internet is really hit or miss depends on your location. For those who are living far away from nearest tower, and network traffic is high, obviously T-mobile will put you on a less priority as its main focus to utilize any left over in network spaces, and generating money rather than wasting those valuable space. Luckily I live right near by the T-mobile 5G tower, and my area is pretty rural, so I am constantly getting 3-400mbps down/20-30 ups. Also, the modem you got were the one key point, so if you having the earliest version, ask t-mobile to swap it, and you can see some improvement.

I've been using TMo internet for 2+ years, haven't had any issues. Get 450-800 Mbps dn/100 up. My mobile is even faster ~1080/50...maybe I'm lucky? I'm surprised that only time it doesn't work is when power goes out.

T-Mobile is truly trash now, they skipped out on giving me the one month on us until I called in about it. And then I was fighting them on the rebate for months after it was due and just gave up after being kicked around and being asked to continuously keep waiting. The terrible foreign csr is fake nice but can't do anything right
I've had negative experiences with customer service representatives from the Philippines and India. There are significant communication barriers, as I often struggle to understand them and they seem to have difficulty understanding me. I believe companies should prioritize hiring Americans for these roles to improve communication and service quality. The current situation contributes to job losses for American workers.

I've had the exact same problems with transferring phone lines and waiting on rebates for 4 lines.
But...
One complaint to BBB and I got an executive a few weeks later to take care of everything

Took me 7-8 weeks to get my rebate. Not sure why so many people claim they aren't getting it.

Just cancelled mine after 2 months. Streaming was fine but gaming was super laggy or freezes up due to connection incompatibility.
Also my work from home network would not recognize or connect due to it being a cell phone signal.

Just a heads up depending on that you need it for

edit
also they never credited me the $20 monthly discount after talking several times.
