The Fresh Foam 520 v9 comes across as a budget running shoe that is especially strong on comfort, with a roomy toe box, soft cushioning, and a fit that feels good for running or everyday walking. The foam is described as reducing impact on the knees, and the front sole curve helps keep you moving forward. The main drawback is durability, since the outsole and inner material have been reported to wear out or separate within months. It also feels firmer and more basic than higher end New Balance models, so it suits lighter use best.

Edit: giving them a shot at this price. Easy returns if anything.

My shoes ended up falling apart before 30days. The sole of the shoe started to separated. I got a credit at the store I bought. I used them to walk the dogs a lot and put around 90mil of walking a month.
May have better luck if you're just using them to go out for errands.
