Not at all. All the latest, fastest gaming laptops use SODIMMs. You just aren't going to find them in desktop PCs or servers. Otherwise, Sam Altman would have bought all these, too.

Is there something weird about the RAM in these mini PCs? I assume it is SODIMM or otherwise not compatible with regular motherboards?

So buy this and sell ram to AI companies then use other ram until ram market crashes

All depends on your expectations...You gonna push 4k or even 1440p? Nope, but 1080p gaming can be enjoyable...Pretty sure the 760m is on par with Steam Deck, give or take...

Lots of things wrong here; for almost $500, you really should be getting an 8-core Ryzen CPU with a 780M GPU.

Enough ram for all tasks except big memory server hosting.

AI / Gaming would be limited by cpu/gpu. Plenty of sodimm.

Video editing over 60fps you physically won't be able to see at output limits, but system should facilitate it.

Wish they did 4k @ 120. Seems that's fully reserved for a proper GPU. The miniPCs I've spot checked were all HDMI 2.0
