Students who are currently attending an accredited university or college and are over the age of 18 are eligible. When you sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan, you will be asked to verify your student status via SheerID.
A .edu account is not required to verify your student status. And since some domain administrators put restrictions on .edu accounts, we recommend using a personal email address, such as @gmail.com
Having a YouTube TV membership is not required. However, with a YouTube TV membership, you'll get 100+ live TV channels like CBS, FOX, and NBC for more live sports and local & national NFL games.
Your purchase of the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan won't automatically renew for next season.

I have gotten this deal over the past 4-5 years (already graduated) and I have to say it has been decreasingly usable. Every year they now use one off games on separate channels/days which makes it unavailable on Sunday ticket. Historically you would only have 2 missed games per week (Sun/Mon night), but now you can't access 6+. Not to mention the blackout Sunday morning games.

TLDR: yes it's a better price than public offering, but accessible games are now few and far between.

Yup same, it used to be a steal and now I'm like am I actually using it. Especially when there's 2/3 games at 4 o clock and my team is playing TNF/SNF/MNF. Commercials doesn't really matter but in general capitalism will take/cut back until people stop paying.

I usually do this. I live far from my favorite team (who dey FTS) and this is a great way to make sure I catch every game. $120 for the year seems steep, but even if you catch an extra 10 games you're interested in - for $12 each it's the price of a movie. I would recommend paying for the redzone upgrade especially if you're a fantasy player.

I used to pay this (I think it was $100) for the student plan. I figured out though that I can download free VPN super unlimited proxy and watch every packers game all year long for free. Been able to watch every game i think except two in the last 3 years doing this.

What?
If you use it on your phone, just turn off location and fox, espn and I think peacock won't see where you are at. You pick a location near the team you want to watch. I pick Chicago as long as the bears are not playing at the same time it won't show the packers game.
I think the only service that does not work for this is paramount plus, but I think nfl games on paramount are the Sunday night game maybe so that is on tv everywhere so you don't need a VPN. I may be wrong about that though and that may be why I missed 2 games in 3 years.

None of what you said here matches what you said previously.

What vpn are you using "for free" and how are you watching the games "for free" with Sunday Ticket?

It just seems like you're talking out of your ass entirely. For a big football fan, you don't even know the app/channel SNF is on.

That's fine. Think what you want.
For those others that are not this person... look up the VPN (that i already said which one i use, apparently this person doesn't have good comprehension skills), test it out and see if I'm telling the truth. Save yourself 100s each year. If anyone other than the person who was rude in this comment didn't understand, I never said I get Sunday ticket for free. I used to pay for Sunday ticket, now I never pay for a game because I use a free (has ads) VPN to watch any game I want other than maybe one a year.

Seems to be something missing though. You are using the VPN to spoof location and then using another app, (fox, ESPN, etc, which are not FREE) to watch the games?

I get you. I have peacock and fox and espn through my Verizon and Walmart plus so I don't pay for those either, but your right. I didn't think about those.

This is what he's saying:Let's say you live in Dallas, the local network will broadcast the Dallas game. It doesn't matter if they are playing in New England, the local affiliate will carry the game. If you are a Dallas fan living in Seattle, the local affiliate won't play the Dallas game. So what you do is use a VPN to change your location to Dallas and then use whatever local TV station app is, FOX, NBC, etc with location services turned off - better yet an IPad or tablet that doesn't have cell signal and more often than not the app will let you watch the local feed.

Yes I knew what he was saying, but the critical missing part is that someone must pay to use the local TV station apps. So what was proposed was only a free alternative to NFL sunday ticket If, and only If, you already PAY for those other services. The original post basically said 'This VPN = FREE games'. Which isn't the whole story.
