Community Reviews
This Sonicare Professional Clean 2 pack is a Costco in store markdown on rechargeable toothbrush handles, with some locations also carrying the Advanced version and other Sonicare models nearby. The appeal is the familiar Sonicare cleaning feel and, in some cases, strong battery life that still lasts for years. The main concerns are durability, with reports of buttons failing, charging problems, rust at the shaft, and water getting into the body after a couple of years. A few units were hard to find, so availability looks spotty and the value depends on getting one without the known wear issues.
Some units reportedly work for years without metal shaft failures.
Some buyers report the handles perform strongly and keep working after long use.
Costco returns reportedly may be possible under customer satisfaction for failures after a few years.
Some locations reportedly have plenty of units available, including an advanced version at the same price.
Some handles reportedly break right after the warranty period ends, leading to short usable life.
The metal slot at the head connection can trap water, causing rust and eventual unusable brushes.
Some units reportedly fail to hold a charge beyond about thirty seconds after roughly two years.
Some units reportedly arrive with defects, including a button that falls off after first use.

If this design is the same as a previous Phillips sonicare brush I had, it has a metal slot that fits into the toothbrush head. Unfortunately, water gets up in there, rusts it out, and then you eventually end up with a useless brush regardless of whether the battery is still good.
If I could read the T&C Costco had with the vendor and if your return stuck it on Phillips, I'd be fine with that. But, my guess is Costco would eat the return.
It's a bad design as I detailed above.
