Then I see it's sold by amazon. The king of fake batteries, spark plugs, and memory sticks! Oh no not this it is yellow and black and has the labels. Just look at the description nothing sus about these tool batteries coming from "dewalt store". I get that a fake might be as good but lookup people taking apart fake dewalt batteries and there is junk small batteries inside not a big battery pack. The tools get faked also.

  • 3 chargers that charger to chargere
  • doesn not will not be there - GARAGE. 3 inputs that will charge

Umm....are you okay? I think I get the gist of your post, but that last bit is so garbled I just can't make any sense of it.

the last bit is exactly how fake chinese ads sound. this is exactly copy and pasted from the link on this SD. put two and two together...
by the way amazon mixes sellers as does walmart and most places now. a good review might have come from someone getting a real product. the sd link showed me this exact verbage so it is very suspect. I won't buy a battery or memory or fake fram filter or sparkplug from amazon unless my life depends on it. fool me once shame on you.. I don't care to keep repeating those mistakes..

I got a fake battery sold by amazon. It showed sold by amazon then when I bought it it became "sold by amazon shipped by others" on the invoice

Ah, the battery game: got the HD 3ah x 3 batteries, all came packaged with mfr date of 2022. That means no charge for 4 years which shortens lifespan by up to 60%. Took them back to HD. Purchase refunded and batteries tagged as return to vendor. Probably on a pallet to ebay by now. Didn't look fake. Assembled in Mexico.

If they shipped them to HD fully charged modern real batteries have slow self discharge rates. So in your calculations you might assume it was 75% for the first year, 50% 25%. So only in the lowest state of charge 6 mo or a year? I'm just guessing based on how my dewalt batteries that sit for a year show the green bars still. 4 years is rather old and I don't blame you for returning but if a huge sale I might keep them. I just threw away a tool I had for 15 20 years that the batteries go down quick. Such OLD tech.
