I wonder if these will still work with their bankruptcy...you know, with cloud services that disappear and brick devices. I'd be leery if this one. Not saying I know for sure this will happen, but I can tell you with certainly that's why I wouldn't touch this "deal".

Their bankruptcy was a pre-packaged one, where their main supplier (maker of their robots) bought them out. I highly doubt they will cut the devices off anytime soon because they make a lot of money on the supplies for the robots. It's possible but I think I'm more confident buying a Roomba vs some of the newer brands that have a limited install base.

As for this deal, I just bought a j7+ brand new from Woot earlier this year and it's the best Roomba I've had (I've had 5 and have three running every week now). I will say that one of the ones I actively use, I bought from Woot as a Factory Refurb (which was a confirm iRobot refurb) and I've had a lot of WiFi and connectivity issues with it, so I've been leery about how good the refurbs are.
