I would disagree with this. I took a Coleman tent with me to burning man last year when we had hurricane level wind. It survived. With zero damage. Surprisingly. So yeah, unless I got super lucky with the specific one i bought, Coleman is way harder than I thought

Probably a good tent for very casual camping or for kids in the backyard. Wouldn't expect it to last very long if used frequently for real camping, or provide much weather protection in a serious storm. But the price is hard to beat if you're looking for something to use once or twice a year for casual camping.

Same, it may not be as good as some of the expensive brands but I've also had good luck with Coleman tents. I picked up the 6 person version of this tent and am pretty happy with it. No leaks so far.

If I recall correctly, Wirecutter ranks the sundome very highly!

Perfect for my child, who is a scout, as he will no longer have to lug our family's eight-person tent with him on camping trips with his troop.

You want the 4 person sundome tent for 2 people with gear and air mattress. This is basically for sleeping bags and mats on the ground.

Good deal on this. I have the 4 and 6 person version which are just the same but larger. This is 7' x 5' x 4' at the peak. So the entire footprint is just a little longer than a traditional Queen mattress. The sides are sloped, so you lose some space, especially if you are on a taller air mattress. This would be really tight for 2 adults on a glamping trip.

The Coleman Sundown tents rock. I've had mine since 2018, and usually go on 3-4 camping trips per season with an average of 3-4 nights each time. It's been through rain and wind, and has held up great. Mine is the bigger version, the 4 person though.

I have no experience with this particular tent, but my 4-person Coleman tent survived a West Texas thunderstorm and dozens of nights of camping.

I've a 4-person sundome tent. It's durable and has been working great for us.
