You'd think by now that the companies that release anime would know that a lot of fans prefer the japanese language with english subs over english dubbed. At least give the buyer the option.

Big to differ. I prefer dub because I can do something else while its playing. I dont have time sometimes to sit and read subtitles.

I actually watched the entirety of this show dubbed first and I'm in the middle of watching the sub now. While I admit the sub is better, this is one of the better English dubs out there. Each of the voices fit pretty well and Gon's voice actress does an excellent job in the emotional moments.

I understand people have different opinions on dubbed vs subbed, but is it too much to ask to have both options? It can't be that expensive/hard to do.

This is why I dont buy anime anymore and just dl it from torrents. That way you can switch between all the languages

What he said. Most english dub is horrible.

Good deal, but I hate digital "ownership" like this. It's closer to a long term rental, but for $20, even that is good. Like others said, it is too bad that they don't offer the subbed version.

They really should offer multiple audio tracks on these. Even DVDs usually have at least English and Japanese tracks.

Eh why not. It's a good $/episode value.

The sub/dub thing is probably due to licensing.

The original Japanese is free to watch on vudu currently.
