a bit of an rhetorical rant here: is there a reason why you wouldn't go to a thrift store like goodwill, buy 2nd hand there, and donate? i hate the fact that the world keeps making mediocre polyester clothing, and we keeping getting get sucked into buying them because of the price...

Good idea - I do both. Even at a thrift store, it's sometimes difficult to get a full coverage coat at this price.

Strangely, we got everything out here in NYC of all places at some pretty silly prices -- thanks to the limited storage amount. I don't think I bought many pieces of clothing new except for underwear and undershirt, cami tops, socks and shoes. Finding the right size is hard, so I understand the need to buy if you have someone specific in mind to donate too. Good on you for donating however you do it Smilie
